I time-traveled and I get to miss school. This is epic!
Except, my mom is going to freak out when she sees I'm not in my room. Then I'll be grounded twice as long and won't get to go to Maddy's party and I really wanted to hook up with her because she is cute.
Who's in charge of this stuff? Can you maybe just bring my mom here for a minute so she doesn't ground me more?

Showing up in an internet café in a city halfway across the country three years in the past had been, at first, disorienting for Benjamin Braeden. Despite that, his adapting skills were as sharp as ever, and with that charm he seemed to have in sometimes-alarming amounts, he had quickly found aide for his predicament both in-person and online. Soon to be retrieved, he simply soaked up the rewards of being adorable and in a café full of 'really hot chicks'.
Tucked between two women – a blonde in her early twenties and a brunette who was slightly older, with a second blonde across the table from them of around the same age – his head was on the blonde's shoulder as she fussed over him, the computer he had been using still open in front of him to catch any more people who wanted to talk to him while he waited for Dean to arrive and pick him up.
"You poor baby, you must be so scared, being here without anyone."
With the admittedly gorgeous blonde all but cooing at him, he puffed up a bit. "Nah, I'm not scared. This is fun, not scary."
At his other side, the brunette laughed. "You're so cute," she said, petting his hair before pinching the end of Ben's nose with a grin.
"Yeah, I know," he said, working that unrepentant grin that usually meant he could say even outrageous things and get away with it with most people.
"You're sure you'll be alright with this guy coming for you?" the second blonde asked, looking to the door before looking back and lifting a bag on the table, one with two Greek letters emblazoned on it, ones that Ben recognized as Greek, even if he wasn't sure what they were. "This city's not always totally safe. Maybe we should take you back to the house with us."
"He could be the Chi O mascot!"
"Everyone would just love him!"
Ben looked between the three with unrestrained glee. Oh, awesome, sorority chicks. This was officially one of his best days ever.
